Bipolar disorder or manic-depressive illness is a mental disorder which consists of abnormal and long-lasting changes in a person’s mood, energy, and ability to function. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic restrictions precipitate the condition of those with bipolar affective disorder.

We searched for significant differences before and during the pandemic by analyzing socio-demographic data.

We carried out a research activity at the I Psychiatry Clinic of the Clinical Hospital of Neuropsychiatry Craiova. We formed two groups of hospitalized patients during 2019 and during 2020, when the pandemic broke out. The inclusion criterion was the presence of bipolar affective disorder as a primary diagnosis.

The number of cases and the total number of hospitalization days was higher during the pandemic, 101 cases versus 94 cases, 1667 days versus 1184 days. We identified a predominance of females during the pandemic, whereas in the previous year the distribution by sex was approximately equal. Regarding environment, the number of patients from urban and rural areas was approximately equal in 2019, while during the pandemic those in urban areas predominated, possibly due to easier access to psychiatric services. The ages of patients maintained a Gaussian distribution with a concentration of cases between 35-55 years.

While other psychiatric disorders were less present in the clinic during the pandemic, the number of bipolar affective disorder cases increased. Bipolar affective disorder is a major challenge due to the wide range of symptoms which cross with comorbidities that increase the likelihood of a SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Pediatric epilepsy is a debilitating disease that impacts not only children with epilpsy but also persons arround them. It is often considered as a source of anxiety for family caregivers.

Assess the level of anxiety in caregivers of children with epilepsy and to identify factors related to it.

We conducted a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study between July and October 2020. It included caregivers of children with epilepsy hospitalized in the pediatric neurology department of Sfax. We used the STAI-Y scale to assess the level of state anxiety (STAI-AE).

Forty four womens participated in our study. Low socio-economic level was found in 31.8% of cases. The average age of children was 4.9 years. The mean duration of epilepsy was 2.2 years. It was comorbid with an autism spectrum disorder or an intellectual disability in 15.9% of cases. In 70.5% of the cases, the children were dependent on their caregivers in their daily lives. The level of anxiety was moderate in 27.3% and high to very high in 13.6% of them. A higher state-anxiety score was correlated with a longer duration of epilepsy (p=0.033), a lower familial socioeconomic level (p=0.013) and a higher number of children in family (p=0.048).

Pediatric epilepsy is associated with significant level of anxiety in family caregivers. This anxiety increases with the duration of the disease and with the presence of socioeconomic and family difficulties. Thus, psychosocial support for caregivers should be integrated into a global approach of the disease.

In the COVID-19 pandemic situation the burden that has fallen on the shoulders of resuscitation anesthesiologists has become really great. These specialists experience emotional and psychical stress that has led to the high risk of formation of the emotional burnout syndrome in the pre-COVID period.

A comparative analysis of the formation of a complete syndrome of emotional burnout in 2020-2021 in resuscitation anesthesiologists with varied years of professional activity.

Sixty-two resuscitation anesthesiologists volunteered to take part in the study: 47 males and 15 females. The main method of study was V. Boiko’s method of “Diagnosis of level of emotional burnout”.

The results have shown that, during the said period, the number of doctors with complete syndrome of emotional burnout has significantly increased, that is, all three phases: stress, resistance and exhaustion had formed. The period of study has clearly shown two groups of male doctors: with period of work of 20 or more years, and with period of work of less than 5 years. The said symptoms cause a feeling of physical and psychological overburdens, stress at work and at home, conflicts with management personnel, colleagues and patients.

The atypical COVID-19 pneumonia pandemic has laid significant stress on the psychic and physical health of resuscitation anesthesiologists. The high level of psychological strain, accumulation of negative emotions, and the feeling of helplessness led to medical errors and delays in important tactical decisions.

There is limited existing research about patient safety issues in mental healthcare. A lack of evidence is particularly pronounced in relation to safety in community-based mental health services, where the majority of care is provided. To date, reviews of mental health patient safety literature have focused primarily on inpatient care settings.

This systematic scoping review will aim to identify and synthesise literature about the types of patient safety problems in adult community-based mental health settings, the causes of these problems, and evaluated safety interventions in this care context.

A systematic search was conducted on 19th June 2020 and refreshed on 23rd October 2021, across five databases: Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, Health Management Information Consortium, and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature. The search strategy focused on three key elements: ‘mental health’, ‘patient safety’ and ‘community-based mental health services’. Retrieved articles were screened at title, abstract and subject heading level, followed by full-text screen of longlisted articles.

In this presentation, the findings of this systematic scoping review will be described, based on synthesised literature about safety incidents, broader care delivery problems, their causes, and evaluated patient safety interventions to address these issues.

This study will offer learning opportunities about the safety problems, contributory factors, and safety interventions in adult community-based mental health services, as described in the evidence base. Review findings will also help to ascertain gaps in existing research, which should be addressed in future studies.

United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities recognized that people with psychosocial disabilities have the same right to take decisions and make choices as other people. Consequently, direct or supported decision-making should be the norm and there should be no substitute decision-making. However, these principles are far from common practice in many mental health services. Joint-crisis plan (JCP) and Psychiatric advance directives (PAD) are interesting tools to translate the shared-decision making principle into clinical and practical reality. Most existing JCP or PAD involve facilitators, which improves their effectiveness, but facilitators are mostly professionals.

In this context, DAiP study was launched to evaluate the efficacy of PAD facilitated by peer-workers.

DAiP was a multicenter randomized controlled trial conducted in 7 French mental health facilities, with a complementary qualitative approach. 394 adults with a DSM-5 diagnosis of schizophrenia (SCZ), bipolar I disorder (BP-I), or schizoaffective disorders (SCZaff), who were compulsorily hospitalized in the past 12 months were enrolled from January 2019 and followed up for 12 months. Outcomes were compulsory admission rate, therapeutic alliance (4-PAS), quality of life (S-QOL), mental health symptoms (MCSI), empowerment (ES) and recovery (RAS).

In this communication, we propose to describe the practices of facilitation of peer-workers and analyze outcomes in lights of process measurements (whether or not participants completed PAD document, shared PAD and with whom, met facilitator, used PAD

Involving peer-workers in the redaction of PADs coherently supports the current shift of mental health care from ‘substitute decision making’ to ‘supported decision making’.

Although depression is one of the most common diseases among older people, it is still underdiagnosed due to frequent misleading symptoms.

The aims of our study were to assess depression in type 2 diabetic insulin-dependent older adults and to identify factors associated with depression among this population.

A cross-sectional study on 100 type 2 diabetic insulin-dependent elderly recruited from the outpatient endocrinology consultation during June and July 2021. We applied the geriatric assessment scores: the Geriatric Depression Scale 15-item, the KATS score, the Lawton scale. the five-word test, the Mini Nutritional Assessment and the Timed Up and Go test.

The mean age of the population was 70.8±5.8 years with sex ratio of 0.85. Depression was noted among 57% of the patients who were distributed as follow: around one fifth (21%) had mild depression while 36% had moderate to severe depression. Around one quarter of the patients (24%) were dependent in the basic activities of daily living. Depression was significantly associated with dependency (β = 5.27; 95% CI, 1.01 to 27.35), ophthalmologic diseases (β = 8.81; 95% CI, 2.18 to 35.63), high frequency of nocturia (β = 3.71; 95% CI, 1.24 to 11.05) and high frequency of bleeding at insulin injection site (β = 4.21; 95% CI, 1.49 to 11.84).

Our findings suggest that the prevalence of depression is high among type 2 diabetic insulin-dependent older adults. Early assessment of depression’s risk factors is a major pillar of the comprehensive care of our seniors.

There are no comprehensive studies on sexual dysfunctions among people with paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation after excluding concomitant somatic and mental disorders, even though their presence has a significant impact on observed changes in sexual activity and behaviour. Most of the available studies among males are focused on erectile dysfunction due to well established relationship of it with the occurrence of cardiovascular disorders in the future.

The aim of the study was to assess the prevalence of sexual disorders among male patients treated for paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation.

The study group included 54 men diagnosed with paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation, qualified for electrical cardioversion and/or ablation of circumferential pulmonary vein, not burdened with additional somatic diseases. The control group consisted of 55 men matched in terms of sex, age and health condition. The study used standard CSFQ-14 sexuality assessment questionnaires, and the WHOQoL-BREF quality of life survey. Mental status examination was performed to exclude those with mental disorders, currently or in the past receiving psychiatric and/or addiction treatment.

The analysis of the survey studies showed that among the surveyed men with paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation, the prevalence of sexual problems is high (61.1% study group vs 47.3% control group). There were significant differences between the study group with lower sexual function scores in pleasure, desire/interest, arousal/erection, orgasm/ejaculation, and in the overall CSFQ-14’s score. The desire/frequency ratio did not differ between the groups.

Comprehensive care requires the assessment of sexual satisfaction and the presence of possible dysfunctions using standardized tools.

Trauma, stress, and attachment problems are negatively related to the development of mentalization. Children raised in institutional care are more exposed to these difficulties, therefore the development of population-specific interventions that aim to improve mentalization skills would be highly desirable.

Our goal is to develop mentalization-based intervention programs for specific age groups (9-13 years, 14-18 years, and adult staff members of institutional care centers) - that support children’s and adolescents’ social functioning and conflict resolution skills.

The mentalization-based intervention targeting institutional care staff was launched first. Due to the pandemic, this intervention was executed online with two intervention (N = 17) and two passive control (N = 15) groups. Before and after the intervention, participants completed a demographic questionnaire, the Parenting Sense of Competence Scale, the Reflective Functioning Questionnaire, the Mini Oldenburg Burnout Inventory, The Strengths, and Difficulties Questionnaire, and the Ways of Coping Questionnaire.

The intervention protocol and our results will be shown at the conference. There was no significant difference between the two intervention and two passive control groups in the demographic features. Mentalization uncertainty and burnout was positively related(rs(23) = .42, p = .034), while mentalization uncertainty and parental competence was negatively associated (rs(23) = - .41, p = .041).

The intervention program will be fine-tuned and optimized based on the results of the pilot study. In the next interventions, we plan to focus on the issues that the staff perceived as most difficult and to conduct interventions among the children.

The goal of current study was - to test the influence of the opioid, adrenergic and benzodiazepine drugs on the immunosuppressive levels of leukocyte pyruvat dehydrogenase activity (LPDG) during the DST in patients with Major Depression and Anxiety Disorder.

Patients. 40 male/ mean age, 33,1+3,2 years/ and 20 premenopausal female /35,1+1,6 years/ patients with Primary Major Depressive Episode were studied. All patients were diagnosed by a psychologist and fulfilled DSM- IV criteria for Major Depressive Episode. The DST was conducted to 60 patients with Primary Depressive Episode and 30 healthy subjects

In the cases of Primary Major Depressive Episode in separation with an Anxiety Disorder after TRAMADOL and DIASEPAM administration activity of LPDG increased more than 25%. Tramadol of a 50 mg dose and Diasepam of a 10 mg dose had a higher immunosuppressive effect than L-DOPA (0,5 g) on alteration of LPDG activity (more than 5 mmol/l/hour, p <0,05/.

TRAMADOL immunosuppresssive action was higher than L-DOPA and DIASEPAM on LPDG activity in patients with an Anxiety Disorder and Major Depression. Diasepam immunosuppressive action did not correlate with positive dynamics of LPDG levels of DST in patients with Anxiety Disorder (after the 4-5 th week of Diasepam treatment). From other side, mechanism of L-DOPA action on corticosteroid receptors stimulated LPDG-activity (L-DOPA therapeutic effective dose-3 g). It means that opiate, adrenergic and benzodiazepine receptors are interactiing with each other and influencing on the corticosteroid receptors in different ways during immunosuppression.

Suicide risk is 20-30 fold higher in bipolar disorder(BD) than general population. A positive family history of suicide, early-onset bipolar disorder, rapid cycling, and drug/alcohol addiction have been identified as risk factors for non-fatal suicidal behavior. Lithium is the only mood stabilizer known to have a suicide-reducing effect in patients with BD. Less than half of the bipolar patients respond lithium well. Even though mechanism of action on suicide behavior is not clearly known, it is thought that lithium significantly reduces “impulsive-aggressive” behavior via serotonergic system which might also be related with treatment response in BD.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between lithium response and history of suicide.

Those who scored 7 points or more from the Alda total score were considered good responders. Patients were divided into those who responded well to lithium treatment and those who did not. History of suicide attemptbetween these two groups was compared.

65.3% of the patients were female (n:49). The mean age of the patients was 36.82±13.35 years. 25 patients responded well to lithium treatment. Among the good responders, 32% of the patients and 25% of the non-responders had a history of suicide attempts. This difference was not statistically significant. (p=0.46 x²=0.13)

The insufficient number of data in the study was considered as a limitation of this study. In addition, there is a need for more studies as there are many factors that cause suicide attempts.

70-year-old male with previous diagnosis of bipolar disorder and poor adherence. In the past months, he showed incipient behavioral alterations, for which he entered psychiatry service. During adressment, frequent memory failures, isolation, apathy and mutism were identified, clasifying the case as a possible dementia. A CT-scan was performed, revealing bilateral, simetrical calcifications of the basal ganglia, compatible with Fahr’s syndrome.

Review of the available literature regarding Fahr’s syndrome, a rare condition witch can lead to a wide spectrum of neurological, motor and behavioral symptoms.

Fahr’s syndrome is characterized by symmetric and bilateral calcification of the basal ganglia, as well as other areas related to motor functions, such as the cerebellum. It is believed that it has an autosomal dominant inheritance, and the symptoms appear between the ages of 40 and 60. The spectrum of clinical manifestations includes motor disorders such as parkinsonism or chorea. The appearance of dementia or psychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia like psychosis or mood disorders, are also common. Also pyramidal symptoms, cerebellar dysfunction, speech difficulty or convulsive seizures can be identified.

Fahr’s syndrome is rare, with a prevalence of <1 / 1,000,000. Diagnose is based on a compatible CT-scan, with clinical features and exclusion of other medical conditions. Nowadays, treatment is limited to a symptomatic support. The goals of further research are to understand the genetics of this disorder which could lead to an effective method for treating and preventing Fahr’s syndrome.

Both theoretical conceptualizations (M.&E. Laufers, E. Furman, J. Maltsberger, etc. ) and empirical studies (I. Orbach) suggest an important role body image plays in the dynamics of adolescent suicidal attempts.

To study the relationships between body image vulnerability and attachment attitudes concerning early care and current relationships.

Participants were 100 adolescents with suicidal behavior (46 with suicidal ideation only, 54 with suicide attempts) compared to 100 controls (12-17 years). Body attitudes were assessed with Body Investment Scale (BIS), perceived early care was assessed by Parental Bonding Inventory (PBI), current attachments experiences were assessed with Attachment Style Questionnaire (ASQ).

Adolescents with suicidal manifestations scored significantly lower on BIS Body Care (p<.001) , but higher on Comfort with Touch scales (p=.05). They did not differ significantly on Body Image and Body Protection scales. With regard to perceived early care, suicidal adolescents did score lower on all Care and Control PBI scales, in both paternal and maternal forms. For current attachments suicidal adolescents scored lower on Confidence (p<.001) and higher on Approval Need (p<0.05) ASQ scales. Correlation analysis suggests, for both groups, stronger relationships of body attitude dimensions to current relationships than to perceived parental care, the former being more marked in clinical group, with Body Image scale being related to all ASQ scales ranging from r=-.32 to r=-.63.

In current study only weaker tendency to care for body in suicidal adolescents was noted. However, in suicidal group the relationship between body image vulnerability and negative experiences of current attachments was stronger.

Electroconvulsive therapy is a proven treatment for mood and psychotic disorders in adult patients. It is estimated that in children and adolescents this type of therapy is underutilised despite the fact that the most recent studies have supported the success of ECT in these patients. A case is described of a 15-year-old male patient diagnosed with psychotic disorder who was previously treated with several antipsychotics, including clozapine, and finally treated with electroconvulsive therapy.

Review of the clinical indications of electroconvulsive therapy in children and adolescents with psychotic or mood disorders through a clinical case of a patient admitted to a Psychiatric Short Stay Unit

Detailed psychopathological description of the case as well as the treatments used (psychotropic drugs and electroconvulsive therapy).

After the administration of electroconvulsive therapy, an improvement in both positive and negative psychotic symptomatology was observed, with a decrease in soliloquies and an improvement in affective flattening.

Electroconvulsive therapy is an effective treatment in adolescent patients with psychotic and mood disorders, which should be considered as indicated as an effective treatment.

Hwa-Byung is a mental syndrome classified as a “cultural-related syndrome” which reflects the cultural characteristics of Korea in DSM-IV. Hwa-Byung is caused by anger, which is characterized by feelings of anger or resent about unreasonable social violence and trauma. Kwon et al (2008) had developed self-report measure to assess severity of Hwa-Byung but it has several limitations to use in current clinical settings. Therefore, we investigated opinions of experts who have professionality in giving treatment of Hwa-Byung patients in the clinical settings.

The present study aimed to reach consent of oriental neuropsychiatrists’ opinions about the direction of revision of the Hwa-Byung scale.

The Delphi method is a survey method that induces people to freely present their opinions without face-to-face processes and reaches consent through continuous feedback of survey results while ensuring anonymity. The Consensus Panel consists of 16 experts who are Oriental neuropsychiatrists and have experience in diagnosing patients with Hwa-Byung. A total of four surveys were conducted as consensus was reached on the fourth round. Each questionnaire was distributed by mail to a panel of experts and was asked to submit a response after receiving the questionnaire.

The results of the study are as follows. First, common factors for Hwa-Byung include anger, resent/blame, modify memory bias and attention bias for anger events. Second, characteristics of young Hwa-Byung patients include stress caused by social factors and excessive immersion in certain things such as drinking or smoking.

Therefore, when revising the Hwa-Byung scale, it would be necessary to include these factors.

Prevention of disorders has become a central element of psychiatric research and clinic. Currently, Ultra High Risk (UHR) criteria are internationally recognized for psychiatric risk assessment. Self Disorders (SD) aroused particular interest because they were found to be specific to schizophrenic spectrum disorders and a marker of vulnerability for psychotic onset.

To evaluate the correlation between psychotic risk and depressive symptoms in at-risk adolescent population.

We collected data from 80 patients, aged 14-18, with sufficient skills in the Italian language and an IQ ≥70, excluding patients with disorders related to direct effects of a general medical condition or substance. Psychodiagnostic evaluation included K-SADS-PL, SIPS/SOPS, EASE (for the assessment of SDs) and the CDSS (for the assessment of Depression).

35 subjects have UHR criteria, while 45 do not have a psychotic risk syndrome or psychotic features. Between the two groups there is a significant difference in the total SCORE of EASE, in domains 1, 2 and 5. In addition, a positive correlation between SDs and depressive symptoms emerged, in particular with pathological guilt and with reference ideas of guilt.

The results confirm the validity of SDs for early detection of psychosis. Depressive features appear to be associated with the presence of abnormalities of experience. This results suggest a close care and monitoring of depressive symptoms in adolescence, because they can mask disorders of different nature, particularly pathological guilt and guilty ideas of reference that are depressive “cognitive” symptoms more correlate with psychotic risk.

Current studies indicate a strong relationship between Eating Disorders and obesity, while studies on Bipolar Disorder (BPD) show that patients with BPD form an important risk group in terms of obesity.

The aim of this study is to investigate the frequency of Binge Eating Disorder (BED) in patients diagnosed with euthymic Bipolar Disorder 1 (BPD 1), and the relationship between their clinical features

This study included 150 patients between 18-65 years of age, diagnosed with euthymic BPD 1 according to DSM 5 criteria. Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 Disorders, Structured Sociodemographic Form, Young Mania Scale, Beck Depression Scale, Eating Disorders Assessment Scale (EDAS) , Eating Attitude Test (EAT) were applied to participants.

A diagnosis of BED was detected in 19.3% of the patients. Body weight, highest weight and BMI values were significantly higher in those who were diagnosed with BED compared to those who were not diagnosed with BED. Most of the diagnosed with BED are women; gender was found to be determinant for BED. The total and subscale scores of EAT and EDAS of those with a diagnosis of BED were statistically significantly higher than those who did not. The rate of attacks with psychotic symptoms, rapid cycling and presence of suicide attempt were significantly higher in those with a diagnosis of BED compared to those who did not.

BED may be frequent in BPD 1 patients. Noticing BED in BPD1 patients might help both the more effective treatment of BPD and the prevention of obesity.

Bipolar disorder (BD) is a prevalent, often severe, and disabling illness that affects about 1-5% of the general population and has the highest risk of suicide among psychiatric disorders. Impulsivity and, emotion dysregulation have been emphasized due to their role in facilitating suicide acts among those with suicide ideation.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, and suicidality in patients with bipolar disorder by comparing bipolar patients with healthy individuals

The study included 85 patients (59 women, 26 men) with bipolar disorder and education and age-matched 65 (44 women, 21 men) healthy volunteers. The patient group was divided into 3 subgroups according to have suicide attempt history, have suicide ideation without attempt, and have neither suicide attempt nor ideation. Sociodemographic Form, The Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS), Barratt Impulsivity Scale (BIS-11), Scale for Suicide Ideation, Suicide Behaviors Questionnaire scales were applied to the participants.

Patients with bipolar disorder had significantly higher scores for emotion dysregulation and impulsivity than the healthy control group. A statistically significant correlation was found between emotion dysregulation, impulsivity, suicide ideation, and suicide behavior scores. DERS Total and Barratt Total scores were found higher for bipolar patients with suicide attempts than bipolar patients with suicide ideation and bipolar patients with neither attempt nor ideation. The hierarchical regression analysis has indicated that strategies, clarity, and non-planing impulsiveness were the predictors of suicide ideation in bipolar patients.

The results suggested a strong association between emotional dysregulation, impulsivity with suicide ideation, and behavior in patients with bipolar disorder.

Magnesium is one of the crucial electrolytes that plays a significant role in maintaining various cellular and metabolic processes. Studies demonstrate that Hypomagnesemia is evident in patients of critical care unit and alcohol withdrawal syndrome. Low Magnesium level is associated several dreadful complications as such higher mortality, cardiac arrythmias, septic shock, prolonged ICU stay, increased need for intubations and delayed weaning from ventilation etc. Prescribing Magnesium with cautious supervision might prevent these alarming sequels. Value to determine Hypomagnesemia regarding critical patients is extremely significant to determine timing for possible interventions.

To review the impact and significance of low serum Magnesium level on prognosis of patients with critical care unit and alcohol withdrawal syndrome.

To evaluate our reseach topic, we search through “Pubmed” and “Google Scholar” database using key words “Hypomagnesemia”, “Critical care” and “Alcohol withdrawal syndrome”, articles popped up. We select 5 articles on the basis of internal and external validity.

Level of Magnesium determination is extremely crucial to steer proper management in ICU, CDU, and critically ill patients. Studies reflecting most of the patients in critical care and alcohol withdrawal syndrome suffer from Hypomagnesemia. Most recent studies demonstrate that a level below 0.75 mmol/L is considered Hypomagnesemia for total Mg and level below 0.42 mmol/L for ionized Mg.

Hypomagnesemia is associated with dire consequences and fatal outcomes for critical patients in terms of mortality,prolonged ICU stay,septic shock as well as need for mechanical ventilation.Supplementing Mg with careful monitoring could prevent lethal aftermath while treating patients of AWS and critical care.

It is known that a high level of health anxiety is traditionally recognized as obligatory for hypochondria, which is characterized by a clear and pronounced belief of the subject in the presence of a disease or the danger of its development (A psychiatric glossary, 1975). Such patients are usually characterized by high concern about their health, but this anxiety can be represented by varying degrees of severity. At the same time, it is important to talk not only about pathological anxiety (hypochondria), but also about conditions associated with normal human anxiety about their health, also in children and adolescents.

To study health anxiety in younger adolescents.

The sample: 101 respondents (44 rarely ill younger adolescents (mean age 10.6±0.1), 57 frequently ill younger adolescents (mean age 10.5±0.43)). We used: “Short Health Anxiety Inventory” (SHAI; Salkovskis et al., 2002), Questionnaire “Index of attitude toward health” (Deryabo, Yasvin, 1999), CPQ (Porter, Cattell, 1985).

The results of multiple regression analysis for a sample of younger adolescents showed that the scale of actions to preserve and promote health and factor I (sensitivity) make up the level of severity of the general scale of health anxiety in rarely ill younger teenagers (-0.476, p=0.045; 0.628, p=0.039). Health anxiety is determined by factor O (anxiety) in frequently ill younger teenagers (0.316, p=0.029).

Health anxiety can be viewed as a non-pathological construct associated with personality traits and behavior and has structural differences depending on the diseases’ frequency. Research is supported by the Russian Science Foundation, project No. 21-18-00624.
