We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an enhancement of a finite triangulated category. Moreover, we show that enhancements are unique when they exist, up to Morita equivalence.

We define (iterated) coisotropic correspondences between derived Poisson stacks, and construct symmetric monoidal higher categories of derived Poisson stacks, where the $i$-morphisms are given by $i$-fold coisotropic correspondences. Assuming an expected equivalence of different models of higher Morita categories, we prove that all derived Poisson stacks are fully dualizable and so determine framed extended TQFTs by the Cobordism Hypothesis. Along the way, we also prove that the higher Morita category of $E_{n}$-algebras with respect to coproducts is equivalent to the higher category of iterated cospans.

We establish that the existence of a winning strategy in certain topological games, closely related to a strong game of Choquet, played in a topological space $X$ and its hyperspace $K(X)$ of all nonempty compact subsets of $X$ equipped with the Vietoris topology, is equivalent for one of the players. For a separable metrizable space $X$, we identify a game-theoretic condition equivalent to $K(X)$ being hereditarily Baire. It implies quite easily a recent result of Gartside, Medini and Zdomskyy that characterizes hereditary Baire property of hyperspaces $K(X)$ over separable metrizable spaces $X$ via the Menger property of the remainder of a compactification of $X$. Subsequently, we use topological games to study hereditary Baire property in spaces of probability measures and in hyperspaces over filters on natural numbers. To this end, we introduce a notion of strong $P$-filter ${\mathcal{F}}$ and prove that it is equivalent to $K({\mathcal{F}})$ being hereditarily Baire. We also show that if $X$ is separable metrizable and $K(X)$ is hereditarily Baire, then the space $P_{r}(X)$ of Borel probability Radon measures on $X$ is hereditarily Baire too. It follows that there exists (in ZFC) a separable metrizable space $X$, which is not completely metrizable with $P_{r}(X)$ hereditarily Baire. As far as we know, this is the first example of this kind.

In this paper, we prove contact Poincaré and Sobolev inequalities in Heisenberg groups $\mathbb{H}^{n}$, where the word ‘contact’ is meant to stress that de Rham’s exterior differential is replaced by the exterior differential of the so-called Rumin complex $(E_{0}^{\bullet },d_{c})$, which recovers the scale invariance under the group dilations associated with the stratification of the Lie algebra of $\mathbb{H}^{n}$. In addition, we construct smoothing operators for differential forms on sub-Riemannian contact manifolds with bounded geometry, which act trivially on cohomology. For instance, this allows us to replace a closed form, up to adding a controlled exact form, with a much more regular differential form.

The base surface $B$ of a Lagrangian fibration of a projective, irreducible symplectic fourfold $X$ is shown to be isomorphic to $\mathbb{P}^{2}$.

The Beauville–Voisin conjecture for a hyperkähler manifold $X$ states that the subring of the Chow ring $A^{\ast }(X)$ generated by divisor classes and Chern characters of the tangent bundle injects into the cohomology ring of $X$. We prove a weak version of this conjecture when $X$ is the Hilbert scheme of points on a K3 surface for the subring generated by divisor classes and tautological classes. This in particular implies the weak splitting conjecture of Beauville for these geometries. In the process, we extend Lehn’s formula and the Li–Qin–Wang $W_{1+\infty }$ algebra action from cohomology to Chow groups for the Hilbert scheme of an arbitrary smooth projective surface $S$.

Let $p:X\rightarrow Y$ be an algebraic fiber space, and let $L$ be a line bundle on $X$. In this article, we obtain a curvature formula for the higher direct images of $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FA}_{X/Y}^{i}\otimes L$ restricted to a suitable Zariski open subset of $X$. Our results are particularly meaningful if $L$ is semi-negatively curved on $X$ and strictly negative or trivial on smooth fibers of $p$. Several applications are obtained, including a new proof of a result by Viehweg–Zuo in the context of a canonically polarized family of maximal variation and its version for Calabi–Yau families. The main feature of our approach is that the general curvature formulas we obtain allow us to bypass the use of ramified covers – and the complications that are induced by them.

We prove versions of various classical results on specialisation of fundamental groups in the context of log schemes in the sense of Fontaine and Illusie, generalising earlier results of Hoshi, Lepage and Orgogozo. The key technical result relates the category of finite Kummer étale covers of an fs log scheme over a complete Noetherian local ring to the Kummer étale coverings of its reduction.

We prove some qualitative results about the p-adic Jacquet–Langlands correspondence defined by Scholze, in the $\operatorname {\mathrm {GL}}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p )$ residually reducible case, using a vanishing theorem proved by Judith Ludwig. In particular, we show that in the cases under consideration, the global p-adic Jacquet–Langlands correspondence can also deal with automorphic forms with principal series representations at p in a nontrivial way, unlike its classical counterpart.
