Articles should be submitted as electronic files (DOC/RTF) via the journal’s online submission system at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/MAH. If you have not submitted to Modern American History before, you will need to create an account. Answers to the most frequently asked questions about ScholarOne can be found here.
During the submission process, you will be asked to provide some additional information alongside your manuscript. You should have all of the following ready before beginning the process:
- An abstract of 100-150 words
- A title that should not exceed 15 words
- A brief author biography of 80-120 words
- Total word count, including footnotes
- Contact details for author(s), including email address, postal address, affiliation, and telephone number
Submission of an article to Modern American History is taken to imply that it is the original, entirely unpublished work of the author(s) and is not under review for publication elsewhere in any form.
