The COVID-19 pandemic is associated with several psychiatric manifestations leaving undoubtedly psychological consequences. However by escaping death ,do COVID-19 survivors present a higher risk for suicide ?

In this study, we aimed to explore suicidal risk among recovering COVID 19 patients .

Our literature review was based on the PubMed interface and adapted for 2 databases: Science Direct and Google Scholar using the following combination ( suicide [MeSH terms]) AND (COVID-19 survivors[MeSH terms]).

Recovering COVID 19 patients are at risk for developping posttraumatic stress disorder , anxiety , depression and sleep abnormalities , especially in severe forms. Added to that ,cognitive impairment was largely described in COVID 19 causing judgment and reasoning decline. These manifestations would partially explain the suicidiality among survivors regardless to their medical hisotry. Nonetheless,many COVID-19 survivors experience persistent physical symptoms and psychiatric disorders leading to post-COVID syndrome which is associated with increased suicidal ideation and behavior In addition , social factors are considered as a suicide risk factor such as isolation ,loss of loved ones ,loss of job and economic instability .

Over the course of illness , COVID 19 survivors may suffer from psychiatric and medical conditions leading to serieous suicide risk. Therefore ,suicide prevention interventions and appropriate medical management need to be provided to keep survivors alive .

Complaints about sleep and sleepiness are widespread and are closely associated with dysfunctional beliefs about sleep, disturbed sleep hygiene and anxiety-depressive experiences (Perlis et al., 2011, Riemann et al., 2017, Sateia et al., 2017), however, the specific role and interactions of these factors are understudied.

The aim was to reveal the relationship between cognitive, emotional and behavioral factors of subjective sleep quality, sleepiness and typical patterns of nighttime sleep in the normative sample.

224 people 18-47 years old without diagnosed sleep disorders answered questions about their sleep patterns, filled in the Insomnia Severity Index, Dysfunctional Beliefs About Sleep Scale (Morin, 1993), Behavioral Factors of Sleep Disorders Scale (Rasskazova, 2020), Epworth Sleepiness Scale (Johns, 1991), Glasgow Thought Content Inventory (Harvey, Espie, 2004), Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (Zigmond, Snaith, 1983).

The poorer subjective quality of sleep is predicted by more dysfunctional beliefs about sleep, cognitive arousal and disturbed sleep hygiene (R2=45.1%). The negative effect of cognitive arousal on sleep quality is higher in people with sleep hygiene disturbances (ΔR2=1.4%, p<.05). Only disturbance of sleep hygiene is a predictor of sleep duration, sleepiness and the experience of insufficient sleep (R2=9.9%-12.2%), while cognitive arousal (R2=23.4%) and (in people with higher sleep hygiene disturbances, ΔR2=3.5%, p<.01) negative emotions predict poorer sleep efficacy.

Both relationship between cognitive arousal and poorer subjective sleep and relationship between anxiety, depression and poorer sleep efficacy are stronger in people with poorer sleep hygiene. Research is supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project No. 20-013-00740.

Vascular risk factors including hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia promote diverse pathological mechanisms in the brain leading to cerebral hypoperfusion and ultimately cognitive decline in people. Medial temporal, medial frontal and anterior cingulate atrophy has been closely associated with diabetes and medial temporal lobe atrophy is associated with hypertension in people with Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

To assess if hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia have differential effects on different brain locations using brain imaging in people with AD.

The current study is based on [18F] fluorodeoxyglucose- positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) data of 970 participants from two large Phase III multi-centre clinical trials of a novel tau aggregation inhibitor drug Leuco-Methylthioninium (LMTX)meeting research criteria for mild to moderate AD. Vascular risk factor data including hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia were collected and quantification of FDG PET hypo-metabolism was done by calculating Standardized Uptake Value Ratio(SUVR).

Hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia were found to have differential effects on brain locations in people with AD. When people with hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia were compared to those without, mean SUVR was increased significantly in both left and right parietal and occipital lobes and decreased in left and right anterior cingulate gyri in hypertensives. SUVR was significantly higher in both left and right temporal lobes in diabetics andlower in both left and right anterior cingulate gyri in people with dyslipidaemia.

Vascular risk factors including hypertension, diabetes and dyslipidaemia have differential effects on different brain regions, measured using SUVR analysis of FDG-PET.

The covid-19 pandemic is having a significant impact on the mental health of the entire population.

To determine the dynamics of emotional disorders in medical students in the context of the covid-19 pandemic.

Methods of research. An online survey of medical university students was conducted during the covid-19 pandemic. The Beck scale was used.

Results and its discussion. According to a dynamic study of emotional disorders in medical students, which was held during 12 months of covid-19 pandemic, emotional disturbance in the form of depressive manifestations associated with the covid-19 pandemic did not reduced. In addition, the results of the study indicated a change in the structure of depressive manifestations in the surveyed in favor of milder depressive manifestations (27.2%; 24.0%) and a decrease in the prevalence of moderate and severe manifestations of depression (3.0%; 5.3%).

The long-covid pandemic has a negative effect on the mental health of medical students and lead to emotional disturbances in the form of depressive manifestations of varying severity. The compensatory possibilities of mental activity proceed unilaterally with a change in the structure of emotional disorders; adaptation to a stress factor is not formed. The highly infectious novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) emerged in Wuhan, China in late 2019 and soon became a global pandemic. COVID-19 is escalating medical staff psychological stress and creating an increasingly heavy professional burden. Fear of transmitting the virus to family, community perception of frontline workers as potential disease carriers, extreme workloads and moral dilemmas add additional stressors. In Novi Sad Clinical Centre of Vojvodina (CCV) for the past 2 years there has been a continuous struggle against the COVID-19 crisis. Both senior specialist doctors and newly hired young doctors, some without work experience, were hired immediately after completing their studies.

To investigate the mental health of clinical first-line medical staff in COVID-19 pandemic.

This is a cross-sectional study involving CCV staff who worked in the first line of patient treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were given a self-administered questionnaire which included information on demographic and socio-economic characteristics and the validated Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scales (DASS-21) and the Impact of Events Scale–Revised (IES-R) instrument. A total of 190 medical workers were involved.

Sixty-two (32,6%) participants screened positive for anxiety, 38 (20%) for depression, 68 (35,8%) for stress, and 22 (11,5%) for clinical concern of PTSD. The most endangered are young nurses and doctors with less than 6 months of previous work experience.

In conclusion, our results suggest frontline medical staff involved in treatment of COVID-19 patients should be closely monitored as a high-risk group for depression and anxiety, and given proper training before deployment.

Patients with schizophrenia usually demonstrate low compliance to medication. This could be a component of the disorder or a fact that they are not being properly cared.

To prevent this in, we tried to treat these patients with long term action antidiabetic agents, in order to achieve better compliance.

HbA1C measurements of patients suffering from schizophrenia and at the same time receiving oral antidiabetic treatment were conducted. 62 patients were found that fell under the criteria of non regulated type 2 diabetes and at the same time presented less than 70% complied with their antidiabetic pharmaceutical treatment. We modified the antidiabetic treatment of these patients, with the introduction of dulaglutide.

Without intervening with their nutritional habits there was a decline in HbA1C measurements from the average rate of 9,4% to the average rate of 7,6%, as well as an average 6,31% reduction of their body weight.

Due to the improvement of the general medical condition of these patients, the answer to the question whether these patients should be treated with a long term antidiabetic medicines, is positive. The arrival of new long term action antidiabetic medicines in the near future, promises to improve the life quality of schizophrenic patients furthermor.

The neurotropic valence of SARS-CoV-2 has been revealed in several studies. Depressive and anxiety symptoms are more frequent in the perinatal period leading to maternal and neonatal negative outcomes. Accordingly, depressive and anxiety symptoms are more frequent in the perinatal period leading to negative consequences in both mothers and their neonates.

To determine the level of depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive symptoms depending on the severity of SARS-CoV-2 infection of pregnant women.

Based on the RT-PCR test, thirty-eight pregnant women with SARS-CoV-2 infection, hospitalized in Bega Clinic in Timisoara, were assessed concerning the presence of psychopathology. The severity of infection was dichotomized based on the presence or absence of the symptoms. The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, State and Trait Anxiety Inventory, and the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory were administered to all participants.

Of 38 recruited pregnant women, 12 (31,5%) had symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection. Symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infected pregnant women had a higher average score of depression (p = 0.001) and state and trait anxiety (p = 0.002 and p < 0.001, respectively) compared to their asymptomatic counterparts. There were no differences in obsessive-compulsive symptoms (p > 0.05) in relation to the severity of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The SARS-CoV-2 infection significantly interferes with the psychological status, thus jeopardizing the mental health of pregnant women. Therefore, SARS-CoV-2 infection should be considered an additional risk factor for anxiety and affective disorders during pregnancy.

Functional deficits, that is, problems in fulfilling appropriate social roles in daily life, are very common in people with a psychotic disorder. In recent years, Virtual Reality (VR) has emerged as a potential tool to improve SCT. Our research group has developed an immersive VR-SCT (‘Dynamic Interactive Social Cognition Training in Virtual Reality’: ‘DiSCoVR’).

To evaluate to effects of a VR-based social cognition training (SCT) for people with a psychotic disorder.

This intervention was compared the an active VR-control condition in a multicenter RCT. Both interventions contained sixteen individual 45-60-minute on-site sessions, administered twice a week. Main study outcomes are social cognition and social functioning in daily life assessed with experience sampling.

From baseline to post-treatment (n=72), none of the time*group interactions were significant, indicating an absence of treatment effects. A significant effect of time was observed for the SERS total score (b=9.84, 95% CI=3.81-15.87, p=.002), indicating overall improvement in self-esteem.

We did not find any significant treatment effects. An effect of time on self-esteem was found at post-treatment, but not follow-up, suggesting a temporary improvement in self-esteem in both groups. One way to interpret these results is that, contrary to other SCT interventions, DiSCoVR does not improve social cognition or social functioning. This could be due to characteristics of the treatment protocol. Another possibility is that, contrary to the premise of VR-SCT, our VR environments inadequately simulated reality. Adapting an established protocol to VR, could further elucidate the merit of VR as a training method.

Functional somatic disorders (FSD) characterized by persistent and disabling physical symptoms are common in youth. Diagnostic uncertainty and insufficient illness explanations are proposed as perpetuating factors for FSD and may furthermore serve as barriers for treatment engagement.

The present study is part of a larger randomized trial and aimed at evaluating the impact of systematic assessment and psychoeducation on various clinical outcomes for adolescents suffering from severe FSD.

Ninety-one adolescents (15-19 years) with severe FSD of at least 1 year’s duration were included in the randomized trial AHEAD (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Health in Adolescents). All participants received a thorough assessment (approximately 4 hrs.) and a subsequent psychiatric consultation (1.5 hrs) focusing on further psychoeducation and health promoting strategies. Clinical outcomes included self-reported physical health (SF-36), symptom severity, illness perception, illness related behaviour and psychological flexibility. Questionnaires were distributed at baseline (before assessment) and 2 months after randomisation. Data were analysed using simple t-tests.

Assessment and psychiatric consultation were not associated with a clinically relevant improvement of physical health, mean difference 0.23 95% CI [-0.95;1.41] p=0.701. However, a considerate decline was seen on symptom severity (p=0.017), illness worry (p<0.001) and negative illness perceptions (p<0.001). Furthermore, a decline was seen in limiting illness behaviour (p=0.002) and psychological inflexibility (p=0.001).

The results underpin the importance and the potential positive implications of thorough assessment and psychoeducation. Hence, these elements may be in their own right in the systematic and specialised treatment of adolescents with severe FSD.

Mental healthcare provision is undergoing substantial reconfiguration in many regions of the world. Such changes require a broad evidence-based approach incorporating epidemiological data and information of local needs.

To estimate the prevalence of schizophrenia spectrum disorders (SSDs) in the Lazio region and its geographical distribution using the regional health information systems (HIS).

Cases of SSDs (15-64-year-old) were identified using an algorithm based on data from the hospital discharge registry [ICD IX CM: 295, 297, 298 (excl. 298.0)] and the ticket exemption database [code 044], between 2006 and 2019. Crude, and age- and gender-specific prevalence estimates on December 31, 2019, were calculated. To compare prevalence between different areas within the region, we calculated age- and gender-adjusted prevalence rates

A total of 18,371 cases were identified. Crude prevalence rate was 4.29/1,000 (95% CI 4.29-4.30) and 5.93/1,000 (95% CI 5.92-5.949 for women and men, respectively. An increase in the prevalence rate by age was observed in both genders. The age- and gender-adjusted prevalence rate was 5.03/1,000 (95 % CI 4.96-5.10), with significant differences within the region, ranging from 4.25/1,000 in the province of Viterbo to 5.42/1,000 in the city of Rome and 6.02/1000 in the province of Frosinone.

Our results showed that the overall prevalence of SSDs among adults in the Lazio region is similar to estimates published in prior reviews, but an uneven regional geographical distribution was observed. While possible underestimation must be considered, HIS represents a valuable source of information useful for epidemiological surveillance and healthcare planning.

The development of adolescent’s autonomy is influenced by both: family and culture. Cross-cultural studies show different autonomy development trajectories and culture-specific family organization tendencies. The comparison of autonomy development in different cultures can help in clarifying universal and culture-dependent aspects of autonomy development.

The present research studies adolescent’s autonomy in context of family functioning in Azerbaijani (Baku) and Russian (Moscow) adolescents.

Family Environmental Scale (FES), Method of unfinished sentences to study adolescent’s autonomy fields («I feel independent when…»), The Separation-Individuation Test of Adolescence (SITA) were used in the study with 201 adolescents, aged from 13 to 18.

Family functioning of adolescents from Moscow is less achievement oriented (U-test, p=0,000), family life is less organized (p=0,000) and controlling (p=0,000). Adolescents in Baku consider the value of independence in families higher (p=0,01).

Context analysis of unfinished sentences shows universal categories of autonomy representation (autonomy in specific activities, autonomy as possibility to be alone) and culture specific representations: adolescents from Moscow describe autonomy more like «independence from others», whereas adolescents from Baku describe autonomy as «the presence of others nearby».

Engulfment Anxiety shows negative correlations (р<0,01) with family cohesion (r=0, -0,474), conflict (r=-0,466) and independence (r=-0,326) for all adolescents, with expressiveness (r=-0,490) and achievement orientation(r=-0,286) by Moscow adolescence and with intellectual-cultural (r=-0,249) and recreational family orientation (r=-0,278) by Baku adolescents.

Autonomy development in families has universal aspects (positive effects of cohesion, etc.), but Moscow adolescents are less focused on others and family in their autonomy development.

Power spectral analysis is the most common method of quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG) techniques and enables investigation of the microstructure of insomnia. Previous spectral analysis studies on insomnia have shown inconsistent results due to their heterogeneity and small sample sizes.

We compared the difference of electroencephalogram (EEG) spectral power during sleep among participants without insomnia, insomniacs with no hypnotic use, hypnotic users with no insomnia complaints, and hypnotic users with insomnia complaints.

We used the Sleep Heart Health Study data, which is large sample size and has good quality control. The fast Fourier transformation was used to calculate the EEG power spectrum for total sleep duration within contiguous 30-second epochs of sleep. For 1,985 participants, EEG spectral power was compared among the groups while adjusting for potential confounding factors that could affect sleep EEG.

The power spectra during total sleep differed significantly among the groups in all frequency bands (p corr < 0.001). We found that quantitative EEG spectral power in the beta and sigma bands of total sleep differed (p corr < 0.001) between participants without insomnia and hypnotic users with insomnia complaints after controlling for potential confounders. The higher beta and sigma power were found in the hypnotic users with insomnia complaints than in the non-insomnia participants.

This study suggests differences in the microstructures of polysomnography-derived sleep EEG between the insomnia groups.

In Romania, in accordance with current law, “the will is the unilateral, personal and revocable act by which a person named testator disposes, in one of the forms required by law, for the time when he will no longer be alive”. The increasing complexity of modern financial and family structures has led to an increase in testamentary disputes, a fact reflected by the large number of forensic examinations in civil cases.

Mental capacity are the majore concerns in the many of issues in elders but the great challenge is its retrospective evaluation, when the patient no longer exists. We focuse on the testator’s mental capacity at the time the will was written.

We present two cases of will contestation in post mortem, in which the testator’s age was 65, respectively 70 years at the time of executing the will.

In the first case the testator dies one month after he signed the will, the cause of death was cardiorespiratory arrest; cervical neoplasm; In the second case the testator dies two years after he signed the will. In both cases the patients did not have a history of neuropsychiatric disorders in the family doctor’s records. The circumstances of the production of a will, including the mental state of the testators and the true wishes of the testators were reconstructed using a psychiatric autopsy, based on the documents provided.

The complexity and subtlety of the problems reflected in these cases highlights the need to go beyond traditional criteria and assess situation-specific factors.

Dissociative identity disorder(DID) is characterized by the existence of two or more distinct identities which involve changes in consciousness, emotion, memory, and behavior. It is associated with childhood traumatic experiences and other psychiatric disorders. Comorbidity in DID can lead to complex clinical presentations, poor treatment responses. Thus, it is crucial to identify patients with comorbidity and take them into the treatment plan.

We aim to report a case of DID and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) comorbidity.

A case report is presented alongside a review of the relevant literature regarding “dissociative identity disorder” and “attention deficit hyperactivity disorder”.

We describe the case of a 39-year-old woman with DID, onsetting at age 25, who had consistently responded poorly to long-term psychotherapy and pharmacological treatment. She presented with anxiety, distinct personality states, alterations in memory, consciousness and behavior problems in functioning, and high Dissociative Experiences Scale(DES) scores. Throughout the interviews, we noticed that she had limited attention, excess movements. After a detailed evaluation, diagnosis of ADHD is established, using the Diagnostic Interview for ADHD(DIVA) and ADHD Self-Reporting Scale(ASRS). Methylphenidate was prescribed in addition to previous medication. İmprovement in the severity of both ADHD and DID symptoms was presented with lower scores in DES and ASRS after the introduction of methylphenidate with progressive dose adjusting till 60mg/day.

Although previous studies demonstrated ADHD symptoms are related to dissociation, there is no well-established strategy for this. We believe that this case report provides a better approach to the comorbidity of ADHD and DID.

Insomnia is one of the most common major health issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. There has been limited evidence that showed the correlation between insomnia and COVID-19 using Google trend.

To investigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on interest in insomnia, including national mental health by a Google trend analysis that implicitly represents the state of distress and concern for this pandemic.

We examined the Google trend search query data from these sleep-related keywords: insomnia, restless leg, and obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) from 1 Jan 2020 to 30 May 2020 and explored the correlation between the internet search volumes for insomnia and the cumulative number of new COVID-19 cases. In addition, we investigated the internet search pattern over time, before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the early phase of the COVID-19 pandemic between January and May 2020, the Relative Search Volumes (RSV) curves showed that the cumulative number of new COVID-19 cases was significantly correlated with the rising search for these keywords linking to sleep-related conditions as follows: ‘insomnia’ (r = 0.41, p < 0.001), and ‘restless leg’ (r = 0.19, p = 0.009). However, it was not correlated with the keyword ‘OSA’ (r = -0.14, p = 0.07).

These findings emphasize the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on insomnia and the crucial need for public mental health interventions to be offered and accessible. The Google trend could be used as a new tool for public mental health surveillance in a new normal lifestyle.

About 66% of chromosomal microdeletions and microduplications associated with pathological conditions are inherited [Smajlagić D. et al., 2021]. The mechanisms of incomplete penetrance and variable expressivity of CNV are not fully understood. The presence of concomitant CNVs in the genome of healthy parents may have a modifying effect.

Identification of additional CNVs in healthy carriers with 7q31.1 microdeletions.

CNVs were revealed by Agilent Technologies 60K microarray and confirmed by qPCR.

We examined 3 families with inherited 7q31.1 microdeletions affecting only the IMMP2L gene, which is associated with intellectual disability, developmental delay and autism spectrum disorders. Family 1: Proband has intellectual disability, developmental delay, sensorimotor alalia. Microdeletion was inherited from the father, and a healthy sibling is also a carrier of rearrangement. In sibs, additional CNVs were identified: arr[hg19]: 4q31.21(144722583_144939143)×3; 9p12p11.2(43588066_43836428)×3; 16p11.2(32066967_33773163)×1; and 17q21.31(44199517_44577208)×3. Family 2: Proband suffers from development delay, speech disorder and autism. Microdeletion was of paternal origin. The father additionally demonstrated microduplication 16p11.2p11.1(33967926-35204414)×3. Family 3: Proband was diagnosed with development delay and cerebral palsy. The mother is a carrier of a similar 7q31.1 microdeletion; two concomitant CNVs were identified in her karyotype: 9p13.1(39176840_40614884)×3; and 16p11.2p11.1(32833891_35204414)×3. Thus, healthy parents in 3 families have CNV in a common region 16p11.2, which contains the TP53TG3 gene. It is important that TP53TG3 expression is associated with epistatic CNV-CNV interactions [Sun, Kardia 2010].

Multiple CNVs in apparently healthy carriers of IMMP2L microdeltions may suppress disease phenotype due to the epistatic CNV-CNV interaction. This study was supported by Russian Science Foundation, grant no. 21-75-00112.

Eating disorders (ED) are associated with other mental illnesses, but the association of ED with pain is less well understood.

To study the association of ED with headache and abdominal pain in adolescent girls.

In 2015-2018, 917 girls aged 12-17 were examined using the Body Image and Eating Distress scale (Koskelainen et al., 2001) and questions about frequency of recurrent headache and abdominal pain over the past six months. Adolescents were divided into three groups: girls with eating disorders (ED, n = 20); subthreshold eating disorders (SED, n = 88); and a control group (CG, n = 809).

Headaches of varying frequency are were reported by 80% of girls with ED, 70.4% of girls with SED and 52.2% of CG girls. Frequent headaches (every week) were reported by 60% of girls with ED, 40.9% of girls with SED, and 29.9% of CG girls (χ2 = 20.21, p = 0.003). Recurrent abdominal pain was reported by 65% of girls with ED, 56.8% of girls with SED, and by 46.6% of CG girls. Weekly abdominal pain affected 30% of girls with ED, 20.4% of girls with SED and 12.9% of CG girls. Combined weekly pain were commoner in girls with eating distress (in 20% of girls with ED and in 12.5% with SED) than in CG (7.7%, χ2 = 3.92, p = 0.04).

Eating disorders in adolescents are often associated with pain, which can lead to late recognition of the disease, worsening its course and prognosis.

Maternal stress during pregnancy influences fetal neurodevelopment, especially by the dysregulation of the HPA axis. However, less is known about whether maltreatment or stressful life experiences previous to pregnancy influence on developmental outcomes in the offspring.

To analyze newborns’ neurobehavioral profiles in a cohort of healthy pregnant women, according to 1) childhood and recent maternal adverse experiences and 2) mother-infant attachment.

150 women were followed during the three trimesters of pregnancy. CTQ and AAT tests were employed to evaluate childhood and recent experiences of maltreatment, while infant and recent adverse experiences were evaluated using ETI-SR and SRSS, respectively. Newborns neurobehavioral profiles were defined at 8 weeks using the Neonatal Behavioral Assessment Scale (NBAS) and their temperament was assessed with IBQ. PBQ and PAI scales were employed to assess mother-infant attachment. A linear regression model was performed, adjusting for possible confounders.

Maternal childhood sexual abuse seems to be associated with greater difficulties in the newborns control of reactivity to external stimuli (β=0,517; p-value=0.001), while recent maternal stressful experiences are related to difficulties for states regulation (β=0,29; p-value=0,038). Regarding attachment, maltreated mothers tend to show ambivalent and avoidant styles. Interestingly, postnatal mother-infant attachment seems to modulate autonomous, motor and social-interactive abilities in the offspring (β=-0,227; p-value=0,033 // β=-0,329; p-value=0,006).

Newborns from mothers exposed to maltreatment and negative life events previous to pregnancy show difficulties to organize and regulate the reactions to psychosocial stimuli. Future studies must disentangle whether maternal attachment style is a modulator of this association.
