Discovering parasite biodiversity means more than just finding adult worms in their definitive hosts. Parasitic helminths often have complex life cycles, requiring passage through two or three host species in a particular order. Matching a larval worm found in one host species with its adult found in a different host can be challenging, as they can be morphologically very different. This collection of articles reveals the power of experimental and molecular approaches to resolve parasite life cycles.
