Plus du tiers des étudiants des difficultés à gérer leur stress

Quelque 94,8% des étudiants assurent être en bonne ou assez bonne santé, selon une enquête rendue publique le 22 juin par l'Union nationale des sociétés étudiantes mutualistes régionales (USEM). Toutefois, 34,5% déclarent avoir des difficultés à gérer leur stress, 22,6% ont des problèmes de sommeil et 8,5% admettent avoir eu des pensées suicidaires au cours de l'année écoulée. Quelque 11,2% des étudiants déclarent avoir une vision négative de l'avenir. Par ailleurs, 45,2% estiment ne pas avoir été suffisament informés sur leur choix d'orientation. 12,5% déclarent avoir une consommation excessive d'alcool. Le pourcentage d’étudiants ayant consulté un professionnel de santé au cours des six derniers mois est passé de 83,6% en 2007 à 80,5% en 2009. Un quart des étudiants estiment être peu ou mal informés sur les complémentaires santé [supplementary health details]. Le taux de non-adhésion est passé, entre 2007 et 2009, de 15,3% à 25%.
