VICE-CHANCELLORS
Vice-Chancellors were nominated by the Chancellor from Heads of Colleges, and generally served for four years at this time, beginning their term of office at the start of Michaelmas Term.
MAYORS
Mayors were elected in Council annually, beginning their term of office on Michaelmas Day (29 September).
