He died seised of the following in demesne as of fee.

Marden, Goudhurst and Boughton Monchelse, 6 a. land, 1 a. and 1 rood of wood,

61s. 7½d. and six hens rent, and 75 works, worth 5 marks yearly. This makes up approximately 1/10 of the manor of Tracies in Newington, of which it is a parcel.

The manor is held of the king in chief by service of finding a man with a horse, a sack and a peg (cavillus) to carry the king's wooden vessels with the king when he goes with his army by reason of war in Wales, for 40 days at the cost of the king for food and drink for the man and horse.

He died on 6 September last. Joan Lawrence, aged 28 years and more, and Katherine, wife of John Norton, aged 27 years and more, are his daughters and next heirs.

She held the following in demesne as of fee.

Penkridge, a messuage, worth 2s. yearly; 30 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 4 a. meadow, each acre worth 3d. yearly, held of the king in chief, as a parcel of the manor of Penkridge, as 1/80 knight's fee.

She died on 22 September last. Thomas More, her son and next heir, is aged 30 years and more.
