What I design in these following sheets is to put down what her religious observed in her exterior carriage, by which her hidden virtue, which she always industriously strove to conceal, broke out and discovered itself. The account may serve to convince us that her life was, as I may say, all of apiece, squared most perfectly in all points according to the rules of Christian perfection, and her practical examples of virtue in the daily occurrences of life may help to engage us in an imitation of her virtues.
