It has come to our attention that a number of papers published in the past two years by the same author [Reference Alibakhshi Kenari1Reference Alibakhshi Kenari, Naser-Moghadasi, Sadeghzadeh, Andújar and Anguera6] contain significant overlaps with other articles previously published elsewhere [Reference Alibakhshi Kenari7Reference Khalesi, Nabavi and Mirzakouchaki11]. This constitutes a breach of the publication policy of Cambridge University Press and these papers have therefore been retracted.

We note in particular that one of the articles [Reference Alibakhshi Kenari2] reproduced text, and a figure, from an earlier draft version of an article by Shoute and Berlage [Reference Shoute and Barlage8]. We emphasise the originality and precedence of [Reference Shoute and Barlage8], even though its eventual publication date was later than that of [Reference Alibakhshi Kenari2].
