This last double issue of 2021 marks the end of a ten-year association of the journal with our publisher, Taylor & Francis. On behalf of the editorial team I would like to express our appreciation to the T&F managing and production partners, specially Giulia Guariento, the portfolio manager and Marina Debattista, the production editor.

We are now looking forward to a new partnership with Cambridge University Press. The transition from T&F to CUP is on track, and you can expect the first CUP issue of the journal to appear in January 2022. We are not planning any notable change in the look of the journal, but it will be published henceforth as a quarterly, appearing in January, April, July, and October of each year.

I would like to extend my gratitude to editors whose terms have ended and welcome colleagues who have recently joined the editorial team. Together we have reviewed the guidelines for contributors and made some changes for the sake of clarity, consistency, and concision. The revised guidelines are now available in the journal-related links in websites of AIS and CUP. We hope these changes will assist contributors in shaping their manuscripts in most effective way.

On behalf of the journal editorial team I would like to once again extend an invitation to scholars of all fields, particularly disciplines that have been underrepresented, to consider Iranian Studies for publishing their research.
