They travelled extensively for pleasure and in conjunction with his national or international speaking engagements. His greatest pleasure, however, was vacationing with his family, celebrating milestones in the grandchildren's lives, rooting for Big Red, his Saint Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals, and spending quiet times with family and friends. Glenn remained active in his church, coordinating the charity Mission Produce Table each year while serving on the Property and Facilities Committee. As an active member of Northeast Kiwanis, he enjoyed volunteering with the Backpack Program at Belmont Elementary School where his daughter teaches.
