Apology

Unfortunately on page 290 of the New Books section of the April 1999 issue of Philosophy (Vol. 74, no. 288), the name of our reviewer, Raymond Geuss was spelt incorrectly. The editor and the Cambridge University Press would like to apologize unreservedly for this error.

Erratum

There are the following corrections to be made to Jonathan Harrison's article: ‘The Impossibility of Possible Worlds’, Philosophy74 1999, pp. 5–28.

p. 5. Line 6 (excluding quotation): delete ‘or is possible’.

p. 16. Line 19: for ‘more’ read ‘or more’.

p. 19. Line 5: for ‘to’ read ‘to them’.

p. 20. Line 7: omit ‘(d)’.

p. 20. Line 9: for ‘Fx’ read ‘x’.

p. 24. Line 3: for ‘omnipotent’ read ‘non-omnipotent’.
