This journal accepts advertising in accordance with our advertising policy. This policy states that advertising must:

  • be independent from editorial decisions on what we publish, and
  • be clearly distinct from content.  

All advertising requests are subject to approval by the editorial office.

2024 Rates/Specs

Law and History Review

Print: Volume 42

Published for the American Society for Legal History.

Full page B&W, non-bleed: $650 | Dimensions: 4.5 x 7.5 inches

Horizontal B&W, non-bleed half: $300 | Dimensions: 4.5 x 3.75 inches

All advertising is in black and white in print by default. Color advertising may be available upon request  at additional color charge.  

Requirements: Ads should be provided as high-resolution, print-quality PDFs with embedded fonts, along with any supporting files and fonts.

Deadline: Please note that the journal is currently running behind schedule. The current artwork deadline for the August issue is estimated to be September 15th, with possible extensions.

Rates: $280 per month or $720 per quarter

Requirements: Files should be 300x250 pixels in GIF or JPG format, RGB color mode. Please include the URL with the file.

Deadline: 10 business days prior to run month.
