Extract

A mean of 27·137( ± 2·634) × 109 sperm were found in ten epididymides from six Suffolk rams. This is substantially fewer than has been reported previously because fewer spermatozoa were found in the cauda. However, the total number is similar to that calculated on the basis of daily sperm production and testis weight.
