Authors can choose to publish
Gold open access is supported by an article processing charge (APC) typically paid by the author’s funding body or institution; please check the fees and pricing page for details of this journal's charges. Cambridge University Press has also made a number of agreements to support open access, and authors at participating institutions may be eligible for APC waivers and discounts. Please check if you are eligible for open access through an institutional agreement here and, if so, complete the gold open access license to publish form below.

During the Covid-19 crisis we understand that some authors may not have access to equipment to enable electronic return of a scanned, signed Author Publishing Agreement. If this applies to you, please see these FAQs. If you are able, please return the full Author Publishing Agreement as normal.
