Comparative Effectiveness of Ordinary and Coated Urea and Nitrification Inhibitor Treated-Urea as a Source of Nitrogen for Maize

Summary

Maize yields where the nitrogen source was sulphur-coated urea combined with ordinary urea were significantly greater than those where an equivalent amount of ordinary urea was applied at identical times. Urea blended with neem cake was less effective.

Los rendimientos de raafz al usar urea revestida de azufre combinada con urea normal como fuente de nitrógeno fueron significativamente más elevados que al usar una cantidad equivalente de urea normal aplicada en épocas idénticas. La urea mezclada con tabletas de Azadirachta indica resultó ser de menor eficacia.
