Resumen

Se emprendió un estudio de la satisfactión de los clientes en dos clínicas ambulatorias psiquiátricas de adultos. Doscientos tres participantes respondieron al cuestionario anónimo de autoinforme que cubría variables demográficas, del entorno y la satisfactión con el servicio. La edad media de los sujetos era 42,5 ± 19 anos, con una pequeña mayona (58,6%) de mujeres. La satisfacción global con la asistencia psiquiátrica era alta (79,8%). Ninguna de las variables demográficas o del entorno correlacionó significativamente con la satisfactión. La psicoeducacion correlacionaba significativamente con el nivel de satisfactión con los servicios. Estos hallazgos acentuan mas la importancia de la psicoeducacion por los suministradores de los servicios en salud mental.
