Review process
This journal uses a double-anonymous model of peer review. Neither author nor reviewers know the identity of each other.
There are few exceptions to this rule, but some feature articles (such as Special Reports) may instead be subject to internal review by the editorial board and/or external review when particular needs – specific forms of expertise, for example – demand it.
Review essays and featured reviews are reviewed by Associate Editors and Co-Editors.
Forums, Roundtables, and Screening History essays are reviewed by the feature organizer and the Co-Editors.
