A New Species of Dactynotus Rafinesque (Homoptera: Aphididae)

Abstract

Dactynotus caligatus is described. It is a large green aphid that infests Solidago spp., and can be readily distinguished by the two parallel rows of tubercles on the dorsum of the abdomen.
