FIVE NEW SAWFLIES OF THE GENUS NEODIPRION ROHWER

Extract

The following descriptions of five sawflies of the genus Neodiprion are presented at this time in order that the names may be available for use in economic literature. Some of the specimens have been received from Dr. J. M. Swaine, Associate Dominion Entomologist, Entomological Branch, Department of Agriculture, Ottawa, Canada. All of the species are known to defoliate coniferous evergreen trees in forested areas in Canada.
