Volume 25 - Issue 1 - January 2019
Since 2013, hoarding disorder has been recognised as a standalone diagnosis in the DSM, affecting an estimated 2 -6% of the general population. In this issue, authors Pertusa, Lopez Gaston & Choudry (pp. 26–36) outline the arguments for and against this separate classification. They consider the differentiation of hoarding disorder from normative collecting and discuss aetiology, assessment, course and treatment. Cover image: ©iStockphoto/Boogich
