The Neolithic of Auvernier, Switzerland

Extract

The Neolithic settlement of Auvernier on the shores of Lake Neuchltel in Switzerland, first described in 1854 (Keller), is archaeologically dated by imports from the Schnurkeramik civilization (‘corded’ complex) (JCquier and Strahm, 1965).
