Appendix B - Author Interviews

Summary

Listed here are the individuals I interviewed who are referenced throughout the book. Interviews were conducted in Luganda and recorded in high-defi- nition format using a Sony HD/ HDR-SR10 video camera and in wave format using a Sony PCM-D50 audio recorder. I photographed them with a Canon Rebel XTI camera. I am currently working with the Butiko Clan to archive all my recordings at the clan estate in Bukalango. For each interview listed I provide the interviewee's name, starting with the clan name; year of birth; primary clan membership; connection to Kawuugulu (where applicable); occupational or administrative title(s); occupation(s); date of interview; and the name of the village or town and district where I conducted the interview.
