[109v] Convocatio celebrata in ecclesia cathedrali Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, per reverendissimum in Christo patrem et dominum Dominum Henricum, permissione divina Cantuariensem archiepiscopum, totius Angliae primatem et apostolicae sedis legatum, die Sabbati, videlicet vicesimo primo die mensis Novembris anno Domini MCCCCXXXIXno, et translationis ipsius reverendissimi patris anno vicesimo sexto.

Eodem vero vicesimo primo die mensis Novembris, dictus reverendissimus pater Henricus archiepiscopus praedictus ad ecclesiam Sancti Pauli praedictam propter adversam valitudinem qua tune tenebatur adire nequiens, fecit missam de Spiritu Sancto per venerabilem confratrem suum Dominum Robertum, Londoniensem episcopum, in ecclesia cathedrali praedicta ad summum altare eiusdem solemniter celebrari, praesentibus in celebratione eiusdem missae reverendis patribus dominis Lincolniensi, Assavensi, Norwicensi, Roffensi et Cicestrensi episcopis; qua finita, praefatus venerabilis pater Robertas, Londoniensis episcopus, una cum confratribus suis episcopis praedictis capellam Beatae Mariae in orientali parte ecclesiae cathedralis praedictae adierunt. Ubi facta collatione solemni (ut moris est) in Latinis per venerabilem virum Magistrum Iohannem Peacock in sacra theologia doctorem, sumpto pro themate: ‘QuasiLibanus odorem suavitatis habete, ‘ lecta ftiit incontinenti quaedam commissio facta per dictum dominum archiepiscopum venerabilibus confratribus suis dominis Roberto Londoniensi, Willelmo Lincolniensi et Thoma Norwicensi episcopis supradictis, cuius quidem commissionis tenor talis est:

Henricus, permissione divina Cantuariensis archiepiscopus, totius Angliae primas et apostolicae sedis legatus, venerabilibus fratribus suffraganeis nostris dominis Roberto Londoniensi, Willelmo Lincolniensi et Thoma Norwicensi, eadem permissione episcopis, salutem in amplexibus Salvatoris. Cum nos propter adversam valetudinem, qua laboramus ad praesens, convocationem cleri nostrae Cantuariensis provinciae in ecclesia Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, vicesimo primo die instantis mensis [21 November 1439], cum continuatione et prorogatione dierum tune sequentium si oporteat et locorum celebrandam personaliter interesse nequeamus, adpraesidendumnostro nomine eidem convocationi causasque eiusdem exponendum, necnon ad tractandum, faciendum, ordinandum, gerendum et expediendum omnia et singula quae nos si eidem convocationi in persona nostra praesentialiter interessentes expedire possemus quamdiu et quandocunque nos abesse contigerit ab eadem, vobis coniunctim et divisim tenore praesentium committimus vices nostras et plenam in Domino facultatem. In cuius rei testimonium praesentibus sigillum nostrum fecimus apponi.
