Summary

Twenty years after the start of World War II, Israelis still felt strongly about any association with Germans and Germany. In early January, a showing of a German film about Israel, entitled Paradise and Pressure Cooker, had to be cancelled for fear of protests – regardless of its very positive approach to the country.
