Summary
A (square) matrix polynomial P of size N and degree n is a square matrix of size N×N whose entries are polynomials in t∈R (with complex coefficients) of degree less than or equal to n (with at least one entry of degree n):
P(t)=(p11(t)…p1N(t)⋮⋮pN1(t)…pNN(t)),
or equivalently, a polynomial of the form
