Summary
The paper provides a critical assessment of previous research on the possible posterity of the Alēthēs Logos. The first part deals with pagan texts: first, anti-Christian treatises written by Porphyry, Hierocles and Julian, then other writers (Lucian, Marcus Aurelius, Galen). The second part is devoted to Christian literature (apologetic texts before and after Origen, and eventually five Christian non-apologetic texts which mention Celsus).
