Summary

In previous chapters, the emphasis has been on the role of genetic variation in potentially explaining differences in traits in human populations. The focus here broadens to provide a general review of the current academic literature on the causes of same-sex attraction (SSA), a review that includes genetic data but which also aims to survey a wide range of personal, environmental and biological causes that have been proposed to explain this trait.
