Non exstitit tamen qui rem inchoatam perficeret: quippe nec satis cognitae erant leges Graecae tragoediae, et deterrcbat chori usus, quem Goelhius scite effugerat choricis partibus in Iphigeniam translatis. Nuper demum ipsa Graeca tragocdia laudabili conatu in theatrum producta, quamquam in potissimis quibusdam rebus erratum crat, tamen ita hominibus ostendit quanta vis sit antiquac simplicitatis, ut etiam qui novitate primo stupuerant tardiores et hebetiores animi, mox incredibiliter se commotos esse fatcrentur.
