Summary
Abrahamic faiths typically believe in the existence of created intelligent beings other than human beings, with the idea of angels. While there are important differences between what is said about angels and what might be biological life beyond Earth, writing on angels provides significant resources for a discussion of exobiology, especially in relation to the place of human beings in the universe.
