  • Summary

    Regional anesthesia is a recently growing field of anesthesia that aims to target direct surgical sources of pain for more regionalized pain control and improve patient’s postoperative pain scores but also limit the need for IV analgesic agents and their associated side effects. This chapter discusses different forms of regional anesthesia including IV regional anesthesia, neuraxial blocks, and TAP blocks and their associated complications including LAST.
