In the initial publication of Kahlenberg (Reference Kahlenberg2020), the Arabic term “‘abid” was used without quotation marks. The original article has been corrected to include quotation marks when using this term, in order to mark its usage within the specific historical context of mandatory Palestine. A footnote has also been added to explain the term.
