The following lists provide information regarding the ‘music meetings’ held in Cambridge and Oxford during the period 1733–1844; after the latter date no further festivals were held in either university city for many years. Once again my sources have been mainly the provincial newspapers. (See R.M.A. Research Chronicle No. 5 (1965), for lists of the Salisbury and Winchester Festivals.)
