In the published version of this article (Martin et al., Reference Martin, Kelly and Holroyd2023), the following errors were present:

  • On the eleventh page of the article, the holotype for Deperetomys dingusi is described as a partial left mandible. It should say “partial right mandible.”

  • Later on the same page, under the subheading “Mandible,” the second sentence reads, “From labial aspect, the anterior and posterior masseteric scars meet in a small anterior masseteric crest (amc) under m1.” This should properly read, “From labial aspect, the dorsal and ventral masseteric crests meet in a small anterior masseteric crest (amc) under m1.”

  • In Figure 9.2, the labels “anterior masseteric scar” and “posterior masseteric scar” should read “dorsal masseteric crest” and “ventral masseteric crest,” respectively.

  • In the caption of Figure 9, the description of Figure 9.3 is missing the designation “reversed”; it should read “(3) lingual view (reversed).”

The authors apologize for these errors.
