The Harper Adams University College annual Temperton Fellowship for Poultry Research and its contribution to knowledge of the global poultry industry

Abstract

This article briefly reviews the nature and purpose of the Temperton Fellowship, which was established in 1989 to commemorate the late Dr Harold Temperton. The Fellowship was administered under the aegis of the Harper Adams University College and involves an annual presentation and written report by an invited contributor. The reports cover a wide range of topics that are intended to be of strategic value to the UK Poultry Industry. Previous reports are listed and their potential to influence the future direction of the Industry and to sustain its success is recognised.
