The Response of Selected Cotton Varieties to Pre-emergence Herbicides

The use of pre-emergence herbicides to aid in the control of weeds in cotton has become an accepted production practice during the last ten years. In the process of becoming an established practice, this use of herbicides has created several new problems of a temporary nature and has been associated with stand losses in isolated cases.
