1 The Double Concerto was given its U.K. première in Cheltenham on 4 July by György Pauk and Ralph Kirschbaum with the B.B.C. Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lawrence Foster. It was repeated by the same artists at the Royal Albert Hall Promenade Concert on 3 August.
