Ultraviolet Observations of Close Binary Stars

In this paper, we present far ultraviolet observations of three interacting binary stars (HR 2142, HR 7084, and λ Tauri). All stars exhibit evidence of a gas stream and extensive mass outflow from the system. Physical parameters are derived for the gas stream in HR 2142.
