1 Reference standard is 19th-century wood, not significantly different from 0.95 NBS oxalic acid; carbonate samples are also referred to this standard without correction for isotopic fractionation. Values of SC14 can therefore be back-calculated from the dates as published, and have not been entered in column 5.
