The MLC has just completed a review of its beef breeding services,

  1. 1) To evaluate the design of a selection index in which all records of performance could be combined into a single overall estimate of breeding values,

  2. 2) To consider the organisational structure of breeding herds within which beef breeding services could be utilised most effectively.
