A new species of Notodelphyoid copepod, Notopterophorus ionthas from Kastela Bay, Yugoslavia

Extract
A description is given of a new species of notodelphyoid copepod which has been designated as Notopterophorus ionthus. It is parasitic or commensal in the branchial cavity of the tunicate Phallusia mamillata Cuvier.
