District Court Rotterdam March 29, 1972, AK 7808 (summary proceedings) simply stating that an Austrian custody order, made after an Austrian divorce, “could not be enforced in the Netherlands, where the child presently is”, adding that is was not in the interest of the child to change the situation pending an application by the mother to the Dutch Kantonrechter. Cf. the recognition of a guardianship decree, made by a Greek court, because of “exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of the children's residence”, (in a different situation however) (Court of Appeal of Amsterdam NJ 1967, 302).
