The principal directions of application of positron annihilation methods (MAP) for investigation of polymer and polymer composition with attraction the original dates are analyzed. The results obtained allow to make the conclusion about efficiency of MAP at analyses microvoids and microdefects in disordered polymer (5…20 Å) which are inaccessible or difficult for the other analytical methods. The correlation of the probability of positronium formation and its annihilation characteristics with microstructure properties is discussed.
