The 8th Joint European Magnetic Symposia (JEMS) will be held August 22–26 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. It is organized by the Institute of Physics Magnetism Group. Co-chairs are Robert Stamps and Stephen Lee.
The symposia will focus on a broad range of topics addressing fundamental and applied magnetism as well as novel magnetic materials. Plenary, semi-plenary, and invited speakers will give lectures on important recent advances in addition to the contributed talks within each symposium. The event will also feature poster sessions and an exhibition. Participation by students and early career scientists is welcomed and encouraged.
