Phase calculations for nuclear scattering on the Pilot ACE

Abstract

The Pilot ACE has been used to solve integro-differential equations appearing in the theory of nuclear scattering. The application of finite-difference approximations results in a set of simultaneous algebraic equations which are solved to obtain the wave function and from this the phase is evaluated.
