page 238 note ‡ Mr. Orr suggested [T.F.A. vol. viii, bottom of p. 141] a somewhat smaller deduction, namely, “some 5 or 61bs. at the chief insuring ages and heights; 9not much more than this can be said until we have a British Table relating “to those lives.” It has been thought better to adopt the results shown by the more recent 7 Offices' experience. The difference is slight and not of any practical importance.
