The following papers were presented: ‘The Necessity and Limitations of Planning as a Tool for Economic Development’, by Professor Diran Bodenhorn, University of Ibadan; ‘The Use of Critical Path Analysis as an Aid to Planning in African Countries’, by J. R. Jurcan, University of Glasgow; ‘Planning as a Tool for Economic Integration in Africa’, by Professor H. C. Bos, Netherlands School of Economics; and ‘Planning in Agriculture: techniques and problems’, by J. Dalton, Economic Commission for Africa, Addis Ababa.
