The value of phenothiazine derivatives in psychiatric practice is well established, but in spite of their undoubted usefulness in certain psychiatric disorders none has proved entirely acceptable. The introduction of a new derivative that is reported to be less toxic than earlier phenothiazine derivatives and highly active in small doses merits investigation and trial.
