Editorial note

With this issue of the Journal of Linguistics we have a largely new editorial team. Kersti Börjars of Manchester, S. J. Hannahs of Newcastle, and Helen de Hoop of Nijmegen join Robert Borsley of Essex as the editors, and Melanie Green of Sussex takes up the position of reviews editor. We thank the outgoing editors Nigel Fabb (Strathclyde) and Caroline Heycock (Edinburgh) and the outgoing reviews editor Peter Ackema (Edinburgh) for all the work that they have done for the Journal. We would particularly like to thank Nigel, who joined the editorial team in 1998, and Caroline, who became an editor in 2000, for many years of dedicated service. We are delighted that they will continue their association with the Journal by being members of the Editorial Board.
